Hey, glad you like it so much! I start off by using good old pencil and paper, sketching out lots of characters (I might show some of these on here one day), then once I have a few I like the look of I take a picture of them (currently don't have a scanner!) and then use the images as a template when working in a vector program. All composition is done in the vector software so I can scale the whole image to any size I like later without any extra work.
I love your works! They're awesome, keep it up! And your theme design is also very cool:)
